Our Goal for Believers

YaDid’s goal is to help youth discover joy, freedom, power, and motivation in the love and grace of Christ so that they may be free to love God and others. We are not trying to just entertain or make people feel good about themselves and have a nice life. We want youth to be radically changed by the amazing power of the Gospel.

The Gospel for Believers

If we were to ask what your greatest need as a Christian teen is today, what would you say? Everyone would have their own ideas, but it would all come down to one big theme: What we should do – bible study, prayer, sharing your faith with your friends, obeying your parents, doing service projects – all that kind of stuff. All that “stuff” for us to do is missing the most important ingredient because it is centered on us and how we act. Instead, the focus should be on God and his message of love to us, called the Gospel.

Some people think the Gospel is just what we believe in order to become a Christian and get a ticket to heaven and that we need something more to grow spiritually. It is so much more than that. The Gospel is also what we need to strengthen our relationships with Jesus. The more we understand the grace given to us through Jesus, the deeper our relationship with Him will be, changing our lives from the inside out. At YaDid, we will focus on this grace message as we seek to be Christ-centered, not person-centered, in all we do.
