Our History

Grace Biltmore doesn’t have a history right now. We are in the process of making it with each new relationship and meeting. That’s exciting!!!
We are the first church plant of a movement of hopefully many
other churches in our region. A vision of church planting grew through the
leadership of Grace Community Church as it grew and faced the decision of
becoming a mega-church or seeking other avenues for sharing God’s grace.
Grace Biltmore hopes to be apart of this ongoing movement of church planting,
with a focus of supporting and encouraging the next church plant as soon as
possible. Let’s set our sights on the next church plant immediately,
if not, we can become internally absorbed with our own needs, budgets, programs
and concerns. With the next church plant in view, our attention will be drafted
outwardly by an ever growing and value reinforced kingdom focus for our city.
Grace Community Church, along with other churches of the Western Carolina Presbytery of the PCA , have high hopes to plant multiple churches in an effort to reach more of our growing community. It’s not about “turf keeping” but about “kingdom building.” It will take a movement of Gospel churches and ministries, not just one church, to transform the city.
We have taken up the motto of our "mother church": Attempt things so great for God, that when they happen, only He can get the credit.

In a city culture where churches have sometimes been characterized as irrelevant, uncaring, insincere or fake, Grace Biltmore seeks to be honest, relational, relevant, hopeful and biblical. We hope to reach people who might not otherwise visit church -- as well as help others experience a renewed relationship with Jesus.
We will be a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), a national denomination with historic roots in biblical Christianity.
